When I was young, as my father’s spanking wasn’t working when I didn’t want to sleep, he made me listen to alpha waves to calm me down. On our old cassette player, a middle aged man was talking to me personaly, making me hear park noises with children playing around, picturing deeply colors. His low voice was also telling me I should be aware all my body parts from my toes to the bottom of my head, one by one they were becoming heavier and heavier in the mattress. At the end, as my father hoped, I was supposed to sleep.

It never worked because I always wanted to know what was happening next on tape, but I agreed of letting me transport a little bit and abandon myself sometimes.

I was convinced my father was a secret agent when I was young and those cassettes helped a lot building my father a second life in my imagination.

As you are lucky people, you have pretty pretty good fractals to go with the music down there, so don’t close your eyes and let yourself go…
